Second (and last) surgery scheduled

I had a good talk with God, and it seems as though He's going to use the doctor one more time.  I have my second, and last, surgery scheduled for the middle of March.  The doc will go in and remove the remainder of the scarring in the top of my uterus.  After that, God and I (with the help of my homeopath) will work on building my endo-lining.

I'm very excited to get this surgery done, and basically over with!  I know that this part of the journey is about to end, but I also know that a whole new journey is about to begin.

Thanks for all of your support and prayers.  They mean the world to me!

Much love,

Tami

Soooo Waldorf!

Savannah and I made homemade pretzels yesterday.  Although she had fun, I have to say they were a pain in the butt!  I'd never baked with live yeast before, so that was an experience.  Luckily one of my bestfriends, Natalie bakes a lot so she was able to help me.

Getting the space ready was easy.  I let Savannah do it all by herself.  She was great and so neat when spreading flour over the countertop.

Savannah and I kneaded the dough...

...we put it upstairs in her bedroom where it was nice and warm.  But not warm enough, because it took forever for the dough to rise.  So, using Natalie's help, we turned the oven on to 100 degrees and kept it open a crack and put the dough in there to rise.  So much better!

Now the hard part came.  Savannah tried to help, but she got frusterated.  Rolling the dough into long ropes to make the pretzel.  The first two were too thick.  The last five were ok, but my arms were so sore by the end!

Unfortunetly, I didn't take pictures of the final project.  But trust me.  They weren't anything to behold.  They were tasty though!  I made half with salt and half with cinnamon and sugar.  Did I mention they were tasty!  :D

Out of the mouths...

On the drive to Grammie and Papa's house today, it was raining.  Savannah asked why it was raining and I told her it was because God needed to water the plants and trees.  A little later there was snow on the mountains.  Savannah said, "Did God make that snow?"  I told her that he did.  She said, "I bet Jesus helped Him."  I love my daughter...  <3

Oh. And while at Grammie's house, Savannah proceeded to tell her that her stomach looked "distinguished." *snort*

What a wonderful day!

Today was amazing! The first half of our day was spent at Wayne's sister's house. His entire family was there to celebrate mine and our nephew Chris' birthday. It's always fun getting together with his family. They have been such a blessing to us. Unfortunately, for the first few years of our marriage, we didn't have much contact with them. Wayne recently "reconciled" with them and now we are great friends! Praise God.

Then, when we came home, we headed to Heather's house (just Savannah and I) for fellowship and coffee with a wonderful group of Christian women. I'm so blessed to have Heather right next door. And God has really blessed me with the new church they He led me too. I had the awesome opportunity to spend some time with the pastor's wife. She is a hoot! I love her, and can't wait to get to know her better.

Like I said. Today was wonderful. It was definitely a God blessed day!

I'm so horrible at blogging!

It's been forever, I know. I'm sure most of you have even stopped checking! :O

Anyway, here is an update. I went in for another HSG which showed the condition of my uterus post-op. Praise be to God, my tubes were open! My doctor said I still need one more surgery though, because the top of my uterus is still pretty scarred and needs to be cleaned up a bit. But, I have faith the this is my last surgery. I believe that it's in God's plan for me to get pregnant this year. :D

So, that's it for now. I'm just waiting to hear from the doctor on when he wants to/can do the surgery.
